Today is a big day as we have a woman coming to our house tonight from the adoption agency. We had a great recommendation for this agency, and think we are ready to sign up with them, but wanted to have a face to face meeting before officially starting the process. For those of you who are familiar with the adoption process, this will count for one of our two home visits for the home study, assuming that we are moving forward with this agency.
And, just a bit of transparency (you're going to get a lot of this on our blog), today is going to be an afternoon of cleaning like a crazy woman. She said that everyone does that before she comes, and it's not necessary, but I can't help it! So, if anyone is free this afternoon.... :)
How can you pray?
- Thank God for His continued confirmation to us that we are on the right path.
- Thank God for our wonderful family and friends.
- Pray that we (ok, I) will be relaxed and be myself at the meeting tonight, and not a nervous wreck trying to say all the right things.
- Pray that we come away from tonight's meeting with a sense of excitement and peace that this is the right agency. (I feel like it's choosing the right OB/GYN that you fully trust for your baby.)
