Fingerprints...CHECK!
Well, we called the Chandler Police Department to see when we could get our prints done. We found out that they do them once a week on Tuesday nights, so we decided to go ahead and get them done today.
There were 2 volunteers doing the prints and a short line, so we sat down and waited our turn. When my number was called, I handed the man my card, he looked it over, and said "where are you adopting from?". I told him Ethiopia, and he got a big grin on his face. He pulled out his wallet and showed me a picture of his grandchildren. One of them was his grandson, from Ethiopia, that he was able to go with his daughter to Ethiopia to bring him home. He was very excited for our family and was a very proud grandfather.

ReplyDeleteWe had the very same sweet Grandpa do our fingerprints in Chandler! Out came the pictures of his grandchildren and then we talked forever! It sure is a blessing when you cross paths during this process with people who understand your heart!!!
