Announcing Baby Girl Weber

Our adoption friends have told us, it's when you least expect it. Our referral call came today!

I'll write out the entire story later, since I'm still in the middle of one of the best days of our lives. She is about 8 months old. We have her name and pictures, but we can't post them, so you'll have to come see us.

We don't know exactly what happens next, but we will be traveling to Ethiopia soon to meet her and be there for court. Then we will come home for about two months before we go back to bring her home.

I love you so much Baby Girl!

Will You Pray With Us?

Praises

WE ARE MATCHED! Our sweet baby girl is happy, healthy, and beautiful. We can't wait to meet her and also to bring her home!

Our dossier is in Ethiopia waiting to be matched.

To this point, we have been able to cover all costs without taking out a loan.

Our I-600A was processed very quickly and we are about to send out our dossier!

We have an appointment for next Wednesday, November 24, for our fingerprinting for US Citizenship and Immigration Services.

We raised almost $1400 from our garage sale!

Praise that our home study is complete and approved.

Praise God for our family and friends who have send in our first prayer and financial support.

Praise that God guided us though our homestudy paperwork. Specifically, the autobiography was a huge challenge for me, but once I gave it up to God, I easily finished up the rest.

Praise that documents have been returned quickly to us.

Praise that Ethiopia had already become a part of our family. We checked out a book at the library and the girls are totally soaking up all the information.

Requests

Pray that the time will go quickly until we can bring her home forever.

Pray that we get a court date quickly and smooth travel for court.

Pray that God continues to care for our sweet baby girl.

Pray that God guides the matching process to bring the right child that He has chosen for us.

Pray for our application to Show Hope, that they will give us a grant to help with our expenses.

Pray that God guides our dossier through the right paths.

Pray for our daughter's birth mom. Though we don't even know at what stage our baby is at, we know that her birth mom must be experiencing something horrible that will cause her baby to become an orphan.

Pray that God protects our baby in body, mind, and soul, regardless of what stage of development her body, mind, and soul are at right now.

Pray that our dossier comes together as quickly and smoothly as our homestudy has.

Pray that we have endurance for the paper chase.

Pray that God provides the money to pay for our adoption.
