But, that didn't have to mean that we didn't celebrate our sweet third daughter. We invited two families over and had cake and ice cream with them (I made our family's traditional homemade birthday cake frosting). Though it was a sad day for me, the happy sounds of 8 little girls in our home (yes, 8 between the three families, and Megan was the oldest) and one big brother (who sat and played with his mom's new phone), made the evening a little sweeter.
What a sweet thing to do for your third daughter. Isn't this waiting for an Embassy Appt. awful? If we don't hear this week, ohhhhhhhh, it's going to be a tough weekend! Hoping we both hear soon. :) And hoping the date is the same so I can meet you in person. :)
