I don't know much about this woman, but I think about her almost daily. Up on Entoto mountain there are eucalyptus trees. People make the climb up the mountain to collect sticks and leaves to sell as firewood down in the city. Sometimes they load the eucalyptus on their donkeys or other animals. Other times they bundle up the sticks and carry them down themselves. Like this woman. And once she's done her trek and her selling for the day, she might make the equivalent of $2-3US.
