While the scenery of Ethiopia is breathtaking, what I can't get out of my mind are the people. Even with a language barrier, they were all so kind. We met this little boy on our day trip outside of Addis. We were driving through a small village and had a little bit of candy that we were sharing with the kids. When it was time to go, this little one was sweet but persistent. He kept asking for more, and even ran along side our truck for quite a while. We'd drive off and get a head of him, but then we'd get stuck in traffic, and there he'd be as he ran to keep up. Eventually we rewarded his efforts by throwing a handful of candies to him as we left the village.
