Loving Ethiopia: Day 21

On our last day at the hotel we were able to take part in a traditional coffee ceremony. I posted before that Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee, and Ethiopian coffee is wonderful (you can actually purchase some here, and we get a donation back for our adoption). But it is more than just coffee and there is an entire ceremony that we were able to take part in (you can read more here).

This is the first step of the ceremony where they roasted the beans right there for us. Plus, there was a rain storm coming in, so the smell of the coffee beans and the rain was amazing.
